One of the metals we supply is porous sintered metal, also known as sintered metal. Porous sintered metal is the most robust and durable variant. The applications for this special material are numerous:
Porous sintered metal is available in stainless steel (316L), Hastelloy C276, Hastelloy X, Hastelloy C22, Inconel 600, Monel 400, titanium, and bronze. Micron ratings range from 0.2 to 100 microns.
Porous sintered metal filters are available as standalone filter elements and, for specialised applications, in the form of plates, discs, cups, tubes, or custom-engineered shapes. They can also be supplied as complete systems — for example, for catalyst recovery. In addition to porous sintered metal, BÈTA Industrie also supplies a full range of conventional mesh filters and sintered metal fibre media. Sintered metal fibre combines absolute filtration quality with high open area and low pressure drop.
