High flow filter cartridges

For approximately 10 years the high flow filter cartridge has been the industry standard for use in larger liquid filtration systems. Upwards of about 30 m3/h high flow filter cartridges start to have considerable advantages over conventional filter cartridges.

• Between 30% and 70% smaller filter housings (leading to lower investment costs)
• Larger surface area (and as such less pressure drop, larger dirt holding capacity and longer operating times), up to 14 m2 per cartridge
• Optimal seal due to the applied O-ring construction

High flow filter cartridges range

BÈTA high flow filter cartridges are available in various lengths, specifically 20”, 40”, 60” and 80”. Our high flow filter cartridges also come in different materials, such as polypropylene, polyester, glass fibre, nylon and cellulose. Additionally, various support materials are available, including polypropylene, glass fibre reinforced and steel or stainless steel. The filter fineness ranges from 0,5 to 100 micron Beta 5000 (99,98% absolute filtration). O-rings are available in: EPDM, viton, silicon, NBR and FEP. The standard outside diameter for high flow filter cartridges is 6”. The cartridges are single open end and accommodate both outside to inside flow and inside to outside flow. The maximum flow rate per filter cartridge is 100 m3/h, with filter housings available with 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, all the way up to 35 high flow filter cartridges per housing. The latest developments include applications in GFR (glass fibre reinforced) filter housings (RO-tubes).

Production of our high flow filter cartridges takes place in a tightly controlled and conditioned production facility in Europe. This way we guarantee the highest quality high flow filters. We can supply high flow filter cartridges from our own stock, which means we can ensure quick delivery.

Filter cartridge applications

The high flow filter cartridges from BÈTA industrie can be used for various purposes. For example, all filter materials are FDA approved and therefore suitable for use in the food industry where Food-certificates (EC 1935/2004) apply. Amongst the practical applications for high flow filter cartridges are: water treatment, soft drinks, colorants and fragrances, alcoholic drinks, fuels, chemicals, solvents, inks, and beer.
